Areas of Expertise
  • My teaching style is centered on practical application of the material.
  • Speech and theater classes teach concepts and techniques, then move directly to students applying what they’ve learned.
Research
  • Most of my research is in the theatrical world. I read scripts, texts, and on-line forums to stay up-to-date, and perform regularly to stay current in the field.
  • Additionally, I attend multiple performances every year from local productions to Broadway.
Hobbies
  • I have performed in over 80 professional theatrical productions and am rapidly approaching 1,000 separate performances.
  • I sing everything from gospel to jazz to musical theater, and am an accomplished juggler.
What makes teaching at Grace special?
  • I enjoy making a personal connection with my students. I can share my experiences and learn about theirs as well.
