College Church Guide

Grace College wants to keep Christ as the center of our community.

We encourage our students to find a local church home where they can serve, be fed, and meet members of the community.

Use this local college church guide to help you find a church nearby. You can find location information, serving opportunities, doctrinal facts and website links.

Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church
Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church

Located just across the street from campus, WLGBC is attended by many faculty members and students alike. Their values are prayer, everyone, grace, changed lives, teamwork, family, next generation, and generosity. They encourage attendees to use their gifts in service, whether that is in worship, hospitality, or the children’s ministry. Weekly services include a mixture of current and older music as well as a Bible-centered message. If you want a college church that is close to campus, encourages service, and fosters spiritual growth this is the one for you.

Warsaw Community Grace Brethren Church

“Community Grace” for short, has a great track record as a place for Grace students and graduates. They have two Sunday services, at 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m., with “Communities of Training” (Sunday School) for every age during both services. The 11 a.m. service is translated in Spanish. Small groups throughout the week provide the relational discipleship environment. Their mission statement is: We exist to glorify God by being Christ followers who make Christ followers, and they love engaging Grace students in that pursuit!

Christ Covenant Church
Christ Covenant Church

Located about a mile from campus, this church can be accessed through the walking trails that begin near Beta Hall. CCC’s vision is to reach the nations and the generations with the gospel of Christ. They want to be a church that sends missionaries to people groups where there is no gospel witness, and they want to be a church that passes the gospel down in time to the next generation here in our own community. Each week, attendees can look forward to a Bible-centered sermon, time of worship, and fellowship with other believers.

Mission Point
Mission Point

Mission Point is committed to meet its attendees wherever they are at in their spiritual walk. Their church pact is for Christians to join together in connecting, serving, giving, and reaching. They believe that Christians should help each other along in living a God honoring life, using their abilities in kingdom service, generous giving to help those in need, and reach out to those who are not included. Attendees will experience a weekly service of worship, prayer, and a message. The leaders and elders desire for all attendees to have space to passionately worship Christ and, through study of the Word, learn about Jesus and their life’s mission.

For those who desire a relaxed church experience, WCC is a fantastic option. Each week, attendees can look forward to worship and teaching that is contemporary. This church desires for its parishioners to understand that the Bible speaks directly to daily situations and that God wants to connect with them on a personal level. The second sunday of every month is an open house opportunity called “Coffee and Connection”. This is a gathering of attendees, volunteers, staff members, and pastors designed to connect people with belonging.

Pleasant View Bible Church
Pleasant View Bible Church

Pleasant View Bible Church is a midsized, multi-generational congregation committed to worshiping together, growing together, and serving together. They have a long heritage of expositional preaching of God’s Word and a commitment to taking the gospel around the world. Their Sunday worship is led by a modern worship band that incorporates a blend of classic hymns along with contemporary worship songs. They welcome college students to come and worship, grow, and serve the Lord as a meaningful member of the church family.

WFBC takes traditional Brethren values very seriously. They are committed to following the whole Bible and nothing but the Bible by the Holy Spirit’s power. Recognizing that the Brethren lifestyle is not one-size-fits-all, they welcome diversity and contextual application. Their core verse is Ephesians 6:6, “… doing the will of God from the heart.” If you’d like to dive deeper into the Brethren values, explore their website for information on service times and photo gallery.

The Ruwm Church
The Ruwm

Biblically-based beliefs are part and parcel to the Christian life, which is what you’ll find at The Ruwm. Part of this includes their name. “Ruwm” is a Hebrew word that translates exalt or lift. The church’s desire is to exalt the name of the Lord above all else, stand on God’s Word, and lift others up so they can experience their Savior. Every week, you can look forward to connection with other believers, worship, and a message. If a Bible-centered and Christ-focused college church experience sounds like something you’d want, explore The Ruwm’s website.

Fellowship Baptist Church

Fellowship Baptist is a loving, redemptive family atmosphere. We desire to glorify God by exalting him in worship, by edifying Jesus’ disciples, and by evangelizing the lost. We have many opportunities for you to get as involved as you are interested. We teach from a very solidly Biblically based foundation with a mix of both hymns and praise songs. We are located just a few miles from campus just off of US 30 but also have a church van that can provide rides if you need one (Call Jon at 574-527-0402). Our college group has both Sunday School meetings as well as multiple activities per month.
