Festivals and Fairs

We like to say Winona Lake is a “Hallmark town,” and our events calendar legitimizes the claim. Every year we host festivals such as the Village Art Fair, the Fat & Skinny Tire Fest, the Village Jazz Festival, Touch-a-Truck, Canal Days, and a Tree Lighting Ceremony at Christmastime.

History

For history buffs, the town of Winona Lake has a storied history. Originally a Christian retreat destination, Winona Lake welcomed crowds of 250,000, which came to hear nationally known evangelists like Billy Graham and Billy Sunday, whose home is pictured to the left.
