Experiential learning is when the world-at-large becomes your classroom. Internships give you a preview of the day-to-day work in a given field. You might even learn that the spectrum of roles in your field is larger than you thought and refine your career goals!
These opportunities do not require prior experience. These experiences expose you to potential careers and eventual employers. The business leaders you will meet are influential references who will be watching your aptitude, attitude and natural abilities.
Past students have also participated in job shadowing experiences, part-time or summer jobs, applied research projects, cross-cultural field experiences, and community service projects. Their experiences have been local, national, and even international.
All students graduate with at least one internship as part of their graduation requirements.
