Gifts to Grace may be made in several ways including:

Mail

Online

You can make a gift with secure online giving by Credit Card or Direct Debit (bank transfer) at www.grace.edu/give.

Stock Gifts or other Appreciated Securities

Gifts of appreciated stocks or bonds provide a tax benefit to donors as well as fulfilling charitable intent. Contact us for Grace’s broker information at advancement@grace.edu.

Donor Advised Funds

Donors may choose to designate a gift to Grace from their donor-advised fund (DAF). Gifts from a DAF can be initiated through the organization that holds your fund and then can be designated to Grace. Contact us for any assistance.

IRA -RMD (required minimum distribution)

Donors 70-½ years or older may make gifts of up to $100,000 annually directly from their IRA to Grace without having to pay income taxes on the gift. Contact us for more information.

Matching Gifts

Many employers will match donor gifts to Grace, doubling the impact your investment makes for Grace students. Contact your employer or human resources office for more information on your company’s gift-matching policy.

Planned or Legacy Gifts

Grace is honored to be the recipient of planned giving vehicles such as IRA rollovers, charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts, and designated beneficiary of life insurance policies. Retirement Plans/IRAsDonors age 70.5 or older may make gifts directly from their IRA to Grace as part of the required minimum distribution for up to $100,000 annually. Individual retirement accounts (IRAs) may also become gifts. Check with your IRA account manager or other individual retirement plan for information on how to make a gift of assets that remain at your death.

Charitable Gift Annuities CGAs provide an income stream for one or two individuals during their lifetime and then benefit Grace afterward. CGAs are most appealing to individuals 60 years old and older.

Trusts – Charitable Remainder and Charitable Lead Trusts provide unique avenues to handle more complex assets such as real estate, stocks, or businesses and benefit Grace.

Bequest Language

You can make a legacy gift to Grace by designating Grace in your will. You continue to control your assets during your lifetime, as well as being able to benefit your family, and continue to support Grace through your estate. Bequest intentions can be made specifically (a certain amount or property); or based on a percentage; or the residual of your estate after fulfilling other specific intentions.

Sample Bequest Language

Specific Bequest: I hereby give, devise and bequeath ______ ($Dollars) to Grace Schools, a not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the state of Indiana and located in Winona Lake, Indiana, Federal Tax ID 35-0868095, for Grace’s general use and purpose.

Percentage Bequest: I hereby give, devise and bequeath ______ percent (%Percent) of my total estate, determined as of the date of my death, to Grace Schools, a not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the state of Indiana and located in Winona Lake, Indiana, Federal Tax ID 35-0868095, for Grace’s general use and purpose.

Residual Bequest: I hereby give, devise and bequeath ALL OR A PERCENTAGE of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to Grace Schools, a not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the state of Indiana and located in Winona Lake, Indiana, Federal Tax ID 35-0868095, for Grace’s general use and purpose.
