As a marketing major at Grace, you’ll be equipped for the four main sectors of traditional and digital marketing: product development, pricing, distribution, and promotion. You’ll learn to apply your education to make wise, effective business decisions.
At Grace College, we believe that the purpose of business is to serve God through serving others. You’ll learn to market with respect and integrity, not manipulation and deception. Know that while you’ll be prepared to navigate the business world as it is, our highest priority is to train principled professionals with hearts centered on God.
Marketing is a quickly evolving field, and that’s why our faculty consistently updates course content with the latest research and trends. You can expect dynamic, hands-on classes full of real-world examples and applications in our program.
You’ll complete both core business classes and marketing major-specific courses throughout the degree. Your core courses will provide a foundation in business principles, such as management, economics, finance, and international business. Your concentration will determine your marketing courses.
The marketing specialization concentration gives you the freedom to choose the classes that best fit your gifts and interests, whether that’s advertising, sales management, or nonprofit marketing.
There’s no education like hands-on learning, so you’ll also complete an internship experience. Local businesses in a variety of industries, such as food, retail, and entertainment, regularly request Grace interns. You may even work in our own award-winning marketing department!
When you graduate, you’ll be prepared to use your education in any business environment, whether that’s product development, pricing, distribution, or promotion.
When you graduate with a marketing degree, you’ll be prepared to use your education in any marketing sector. Graduates have gone on to work in areas such as sales, management, SEO, public relations, copywriting, social media, inbound marketing, and a variety of other positions that require a thorough understanding of marketing.
